![]() ![]() When I processed this RAW data in Bridge, I used very little of clarity or contrast and only a tick more sharpening in the DETAILS tab, as I did bump up the NR from the base of 0. I love the benefit of DeepPrime - but would really want to tweak how the sharpening elements are applied. It's like it is applying a level of clarity and contrast equally to the whole image, while ignoring the aperture setting - f/2.8 in this instance. I intend to have parts of my images softer - more out of focus. I typically shoot aperture priority with long lenses. ![]() This would be great for a wide angle shot if I want maximum DOF. And, if I have an issue with it - it is this later point - it creates more detail from front to back in the scene. Initially gut opinion - it strips grain very well - and maintains good detail. Beyond that you choose the file, or drag and drop, and choose whether to output to a JPG or DNG. This is where there are user options - you choose, HD, Prime, or DeepPrime. They use what they know about your camera and lens, as long as it is in their database - as well as their noise reduction capabilities. ![]() The weakest point - they do the processing with no user input. TAKE with a grain of salt - this tidbit of opinion is from one image. So, I downloaded the free trial - and tried a recent image with it. This gives a person access to DeepPrime, their noise processing element that seems to do some pretty nice work. but I was curious about this, as an initial step given it can render a DNG, allowing me to further tinker with the file. I have been using ACR via Bridge forever. ![]()

The Inter-Allied Tank Commission decided that, because of the wartime demands on French industry, the quickest way to supply the American forces with tanks was to manufacture the French Renault FT light tank in the United States. A joint Anglo-French-American program was launched to develop a new heavy tank based on British heavy tank designs, though it was expected that sufficient quantities of tanks would not be available until April 1918. The following month, in light of a report into British and French theories on tank operation, the American Expeditionary Forces' commander-in-chief, General John Pershing, decided that both light and heavy tanks were essential for the conduct of the war and should be acquired as soon as possible. entered the First World War on the side of the Entente Powers in April 1917, without any tanks of its own. In World War II, the US came to the fore with tanks designed for mass production and reliability reflecting the US position as the "arsenal of democracy". In the interwar period there was reduced development due to the low expenditure on war material following the US non-interventionist policy and the financial position. While there were several American experiments in tank design, the first American tanks to see service were copies of French light tanks and a joint heavy tank design with the United Kingdom. The United States has produced tanks since their inception in World War I, up until the present day. ![]() ![]() Moderators may remove posts at their discretion.
